Stephen Caffrey is an actor and director born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1959. His interest in acting was sparked by his older brother's performance in a school play, and he went on to appear in several plays in different high schools. After settling in Chicago, he pursued acting and co-founded the Immediate Theatre. He gained recognition for his role in the soap series All My Children, and went on to appear in films such as Longtime Companion and The Babe. He also directed an episode of Tour of Duty and has made guest appearances in various TV series. In the late 90s, he shifted his focus to the stage, appearing in productions such as The Miser, The Scarlet Letter, and I Hate Hamlet. He currently resides on both coasts.
